Just a quick update for chapter Treasurers and the finance oriented bunch. You will now notice a “Printer Friendly” link in the “Dues” section on the member balances screen. We’ve included each member’s phone number to make follow up phone calls more convenient.
Here’s to collecting more dues for your chapter!
We’re really excited to announce support for multiple bank deposit accounts. Housing Corporations, feel free to shoot off that bottle of champagne!
Now, when you assess charges to your members you’ll be able to choose which bank account you want us to deposit the money into. Dues and assessments go to the chapter account, rent goes to the housing corporation account, simple as that.
In addition, we’ve also enhanced our dues collection and budgeting integration. We now automatically calculate your chapter’s dues collection expenses and subtract the amount from your budget. Stay tuned for more great improvements to our chapter dues collection system!
We’ve also just launched an update so that your calendar’s appear all pretty and clean when printed.
Printable budgets! Now you can have a clean looking hard copy of your chapter’s finances. Simply print the page when viewing your budget (cross your fingers that your printer still has some ink left) and you should have a nice paper copy for meeting or your Treasurer’s binder.
ChapterBoard iPhone app now available in the App Store.
Just a minor update that we added a new feature to the community service section. When you record your hours you may now record a note to share additional information.
We’re excited to announce all the great work we’ve put into ChapterBoard over the holiday.

There’s a lot more in store as well. Good luck to all our chapters on winter/spring recruitment! And, as always, let us know what you think about our new features.
Just launched our new photo galleries feature. Enjoy!
This website has so far astounded me in simplicity, function, and design. I feel like this was made with the mindset of a Greek, and will no doubt be beneficial for our chapter! Thank you for this amazing resource!

Let’s face the facts: ChapterBoard chapters are freaking awesome! This past summer time meant convention time, and it was great to hear that so many of our chapters took home national awards and recognitions this year. Among them, we’d like to give a giant congratulations to the Pi Kappa Alpha brothers of the Gamma Delta chapter at the University of Arizona.
Gamma Delta garnered multiple awards at the Pike International Convention this summer including awards for recruitment, chapter management, chapter excellence, alumni advisory board, and convention attendance (impressive since the Pike convention was held in Texas). While you might be thinking “this is pretty good but not feature worthy”, we at ChapterBoard wholeheartedly beg to disagree. Gamma Delta accomplished all this (and more) in its very first year after rechartering in August 2009. Yes, you heard right, their very first, inaugural, true-freshman status, in-the-words-of-Madonna “like a virgin”, year as an active chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha. Don’t worry, we were impressed, and a little jealous, too.
With a Fall class of 66 brand spanking new members, the Gamma Delta chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha boasts a chapter roster of 177 men, making them the largest house at Arizona. Their members hold prominent leadership positions on campus such as on the Executive Council of IFC and a totally ambiguous position known as the President of the Student Body. Impressed again? Hold your breath because there’s more. Gamma Delta also put on two philanthropic events during the school year: their Pikes for Tykes toy drive that collected over 1,400 toys ($10,000 value) for children of the Tucson community, and their first annual Pike Firefighters Challenge that raised over $19,000 for the Tucson Fire Department. Ok, now you can breathe again… but you might want to wipe the drool off your face.
ChapterBoard was thoroughly impressed by the Pikes of Arizona and their accomplishments, not to mention that we love the whole unknown-underdog-who-shocks-everyone story, it’s so very Glee-esque (yes, we’re fans - don’t hate). Gamma Delta is certainly a contender to be reckoned with on the Arizona campus and, while we can only guess as to how they’ve done so much so quickly, ChapterBoard is very proud to call Gamma Delta one of the family.
Congratulations Pi Kappa Alpha - Gamma Delta chapter! We know you have much more stashed up those garnet and gold Pike sleeves and all we can say is, Arizona Greek life, we hope you’re ready!
